Zendaya Fans, Take Note: Every Movie and TV Show Coming in 2026–2027
Zendaya began her career as a teen star on Disney Channel and has become a global icon with numerous acclaimed roles. From Shake It Up and K.C. Undercover to Dune, Euphoria, Challengers, and Spider-Man, her journey has consistently pushed boundaries. Here are her upcoming movies and shows.
1. The Drama (April 3, 2026)
Zendaya will star opposite Robert Pattinson in Kristoffer Borgli’s romantic drama The Drama. The A24-backed film centers on a couple whose relationship is shaken just days before their wedding when one partner discovers unsettling truths about the other. The cast also includes Alana Haim, YaYa Gosselin, and Michael Abbott Jr. The film is set to be released on April 3, 2026. Watch the trailer here.
2. Euphoria Season 3 (April 2026)
Season 3 of HBO’s Euphoria will be released in 2026. Zendaya returns as Rue Bennett, and the eight-episode season is expected to take the characters out of high school. Returning cast members include Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow. Colman Domingo will return as a guest star.
New additions include Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, and Kadeem Hardison, alongside several guest stars. Cast members confirmed not to return include Storm Reid, Barbie Ferreira, Algee Smith, and Nika King. Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, died on July 31, 2023. Filming has wrapped, and the season is expected in April 2026.
3. The Odyssey (July 17, 2026)
Zendaya will appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic poem about Odysseus’ perilous journey home after the Trojan War. The film will depict encounters with Polyphemus, the Sirens, and Circe, as well as Odysseus’ reunion with Penelope.
Matt Damon plays Odysseus and Tom Holland plays Telemachus. The cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o, Jon Bernthal, Mia Goth, Cosmo Jarvis, and Elliot Page. The movie is slated for July 17, 2026.
4. Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 31, 2026)
Zendaya will reprise her role as MJ in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth installment in the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise. The film is helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton, with Tom Holland returning as Peter Parker. The cast includes Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, plus Liza Colón-Zayas and Sadie Sink. The movie will be released on July 31, 2026. Watch the official suit reveal here.
5. Dune: Part Three (December 18, 2026)
Post-production is underway for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three, with Zendaya returning as Chani and Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides. The cast also includes Florence Pugh, Jason Momoa, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, and Anya Taylor-Joy. The film is scheduled for December 18, 2026.
6. Shrek 5 (June 30, 2027)
Shrek 5 began production in January 2025. The film is directed by Walt Dohrn and Brad Ableson, with Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy returning. Zendaya will voice Felicia, Shrek and Fiona’s daughter. The movie is set to release on June 30, 2027. Watch the cast announcement video here.
7. Be My Baby (TBA)
Zendaya will play Ronnie Spector, the legendary lead singer of the Ronettes, in Barry Jenkins’ biographical drama Be My Baby. The film is adapted from Spector’s memoir, co-written with Vince Waldron. It remains in development, with production yet to begin and more casting details expected later.
